Milan, 3 March 2026 - During the upcoming edition of Milan Design Week (20-26 April 2026), Fornasetti will unveil FOREVER FORNASETTI. NEW ENCOUNTERS, a renewed vision of its universe, marking a significant new chapter for the Milanese atelier. Rooted in its unmistakable heritage yet oriented toward the present, the presentation centers on the complete restyling of the Fornasetti store on Corso Venezia (with a new entrance on Via Senato), a twelve-week floral residency and the launch of new collections spanning furniture and decorative objects. Guiding this new phase is Barnaba Fornasetti, the Atelier’s Artistic Director: an artist and visionary with a free-spirited approach, whose personal creative drive is at the origin of the entire project. With FOREVER FORNASETTI. NEW ENCOUNTERS, Barnaba continues to expand and rewrite the Fornasetti universe, affirming it as a living, evolving system open to dialogue, experimentation and new forms of expression.

At the heart of this transformation is a new partnership with international design studio Tutto Bene, who have been invited to reimagine the physical brand expression of Fornasetti. The intervention signals not only a spatial renewal but a broader reflection on how the Atelier’s singular identity can be experienced today.

Tutto Bene’s approach embraces Piero Fornasetti’s productive contradiction of classical and modern, ornamental and radical. Guided by a philosophy of simplicity, optimism and excellence, the studio has developed a layered design system for the Milan flagship store, with a series of interventions that respond to the building’s existing character while proposing a model for Fornasetti’s future physical environments. The full restyle will be revealed during Milan Design Week and will serve as the stage for a series of activations unfolding over the following months.

Among them is the debut of Fornasetti Fiori by Fjura, spearheaded by Simone Gooch on the ground floor of the Milan flagship, inaugurating a new initiative running for twelve weeks. The flower shop will be personally run by Gooch, the Australian creative and founder of Fjura, celebrated for her sculptural floral compositions that balance wildness with precision. For Fornasetti, she will create and sell exclusive floral arrangements that enter into dialogue with the brand’s visual language, transforming the space into a living, evolving installation.

FOREVER FORNASETTI. NEW ENCOUNTERS will also mark the unveiling of new Fornasetti collections. A central focus is placed on new porcelain and ceramic vases, whose forms and surfaces will be further animated by Gooch’s floral compositions. Expanding the Atelier’s exploration of domestic rituals and imagination, Fornasetti will introduce new pieces including the new bar cabinet Palladiana e Arlecchini, an object that unites functionality with fantasy and reinterprets the concept of entertainment as a space between conviviality and theatricality. Additionally, Fornasetti will debut a new rug collection developed in collaboration with cc-tapis: a project that reinterprets selected archival motifs through art, irony, and artisanal savoir-faire.

During Milan Design Week and beyond, FOREVER FORNASETTI the Via Senato store will become a site of encounter: between past and future, object and gesture, imagination and everyday life.

NOTES TO THE EDITORS

Fornasetti Store
Via Senato 2
20121 Milan

Press Preview:
Monday 20 April | 9.30 - 19.30

Opening Hours:
Monday 20 - Sunday 26 April | 10.00 - 19.30

ABOUT FORNASETTI
Fornasetti is an atelier recognised for the design and decoration of finely crafted furnishing objects.
