Available solely at the iconic London department store until the end of the year, the candle brings Fornasetti’s celestial universe into the realm of home fragrance, combining the Atelier’s decorative artistry with one of its most distinctive olfactory creations.
Across the porcelain surface, celestial bodies, zodiac symbols and fantastical figures come together in a dreamlike composition, inviting the eye to wander across an imagined night sky. Made of porcelain and decorated entirely by hand, the vessel features hand-applied gold details that catch the light and enhance the depth and richness of the decoration.
More than a source of fragrance, the Astronomici scented candle is conceived as an object to be admired and contemplated. Once the wax has been consumed, its porcelain vessel continues to live on as a decorative piece, embodying the Fornasetti philosophy of creating objects in which functionality, beauty and imagination coexist.
